The human organism is often stressed from the consumption of too much coffee, alcohol, sugar, and animal protein. These foods and drinks create an acidic environment which is harmful to our health. Green smoothies, on the other hand, are an ideal way of balancing our body´s pH levels. All the heat sensitive nutrients are preserved through the use of a high performance blender, and the body is supplied with many vital substances.

Another big plus: Green smoothies also make a dietary change a little easier. A smoothie is a high-fiber meal, which keeps you satisfied you for longer. After only a short period of time, the body will automatically start craving more and more healthy food.Your desire for sweets and unhealthy foods will reduce notably, and your digestion will slowly improve making it easier to lose weight.

In addition the large amount of antioxidants in a smoothie slows down the aging process. Just another reason to add green smoothies to your diet! You can be as creative as you like with your choice of ingredients. We came up with four different recipes for you to recreate, which will provide you with plenty of energy. Green smoothies are a great way to improve your health sustainably. They help you to feel better, and supply you with energy for the day. On top of that, you should detox your body about twice a year, which you can do by checking out these detox smoothie recipes (Link). 

The ingredients used in the smoothie are rich in micronutrients: enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The high performance blender breaks open the cell walls of leafy greens, making them easy to digest.

Recipe 1: Meadow Green

Ingredients:

  • 2 handfuls of Corn Salad 
  • 1 handful of Spinach 
  • ½ cucumber 
  • 3 small apples 
  • 1 small piece of ginger 
  • Juice from half a lemon 
  • Water to taste 

To Prepare:

Put all ingredients in the blender. Add a little water to dilute, if necessary. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Recipe 2: Fresh Kick with Cucumber and Lemon

Ingredients:

  • 10 g leaf spinach
  • 10 g broccoli 
  • 3 leaves green salad 
  • 1 pinch herbed seasoned salt 
  • 1 piece lemon 
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 piece cucumber

To Prepare:

Put all ingredients in blender. Mix on high speed. Pour in a glass and drink.

Recipe 3: Go Green

Ingredients:

  • 70 g corn salad 
  • 150 g spinach 
  • 1 large pear 
  • 1 large apple
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 800 ml water

To Prepare:

Put all ingredients in blender and blend on the highest speed. Add more water if required.

Recipe 4: Fresh & fruity

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Peaches 
  • ½ Cup Pineapple 
  • ½ Banana
  • 2 Cup Spinach
  • 2 Cup Almond Milk

Method:

Put all the ingredients in the blender. If necessary, add more almond milk or water to make the smoothie more liquid.
