Our recipe for delicious chocolate mousse is vegan, low carb and absolutely yummy
Have you ever been craving something sweet but didn’t want to munch on chocolate with 50 g of sugar?
What do you think of healthy chocolate mousse that’s completely free from industrial sugar?
Sounds great, doesn’t it? The secret ingredients are one avocado, cocoa, a banana and dates.
The avocado’s high fat content makes this mousse super creamy. Banana gives this treat the perfect sweetness whilst cocoa provides the chocolate kick to satisfy your cravings.
- 1-2 ripe bananas
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- optional: some agave syrup, dates
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and extract the meat using a spoon.
- Blend bananas and avocado with the cocoa powder. Optionally you may add sugar, agave syrup etc.
- Leave the mousse to rest in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving.
