Our recipe for delicious chocolate mousse is vegan, low carb and absolutely yummy

Have you ever been craving something sweet but didn’t want to munch on chocolate with 50 g of sugar?

What do you think of healthy chocolate mousse that’s completely free from industrial sugar?

Sounds great, doesn’t it? The secret ingredients are one avocado, cocoa, a banana and dates.

The avocado’s high fat content makes this mousse super creamy. Banana gives this treat the perfect sweetness whilst cocoa provides the chocolate kick to satisfy your cravings.

Chocolate Mousse - Recipe for 2- 3 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado

  • 1-2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa

  • optional: some agave syrup, dates

Preparation:

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and extract the meat using a spoon.
  2. Blend bananas and avocado with the cocoa powder. Optionally you may add sugar, agave syrup etc.
  3. Leave the mousse to rest in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving.

The next movie night is saved, right?
