3 Delicious Omelet Recipes - the Ideal Muscle Building Meal

Whether for Breakfast or as a Snack - Omelets are Not Only Ideal Muscle Food, but Also Light, Versatile and Delicious!

An omelet is not only quick to make, but also easy to vary and most of all healthy. All you need to create your delicious omelet is 2-3 eggs, and ingredients of your choice. Hey presto: 25 g of protein!

Eggs contain important healthy fats and a lot of protein. Because it also contains vitamins, the egg is considered a superfood. A succulent omelet is not only tasty in combination with delicious vegetables, protein-rich cheese, the Omega-3 source salmon, or prawns, it also has a high nutritional benefit, and a heavenly taste experience.

Recipe 1: Spring Omelet

The spring omelet is ideal for the evening and suitable for those who are now on a “low carb diet”.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • salt, pepper
  • 1 spring onion 
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • parsley
  • a little olive oil

To Prepare:

  1. Wash and dry the spring onion, bell pepper, and parsley. Slice the spring onion in rings, the pepper in small cubes and chop the parsley fine. Mix all the vegetables. 
  2. Break 2 eggs in a bowl and whisk with a fork. Add salt and pepper. 
  3. Leave some of the vegetables aside, and add the rest to the heated frying pan with olive oil. Pour the eggs on top, and spread the vegetables evenly in the egg mixture. 
  4. Fry gently on low heat. The eggs will start to set after a few minutes. When the top surface is cooked but still moist, you can remove the omelet from the frying pan. Carefully remove and fold in the middle.  
  5. Sprinkle the rest of the vegetables on top of the hot omelet, and enjoy your meal.

Recipe 2: Feta Cheese Omelet

The feta cheese omelet is a combination of Italy´s heavenly flavours and Greek delicacy. Feta is high in protein, and gives the omelet an essence of Greece.

Ingredients: 

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1 strip of feta cheese 
  • 1 handful basil 
  • salt, pepper 
  • A little olive oil

To Prepare:

  1. Wash and cut the tomatoes in small pieces. Clean the basil and tear in strips. Cut the feta in cubes. Mix together. 
  2. Break two eggs in a bowl, season, and whisk. In a frying pan with oil, add the vegetables, and pour in the eggs. Spread evenly.
  3. On low heat allow the eggs to set. The omelet is ready when the surface is lighter and slightly moist.
  4. Serve folded on a plate. Decorate with basil and feta. Buon Appetito!

Recipe 3: Colorful Vegetable Omelet

This colorful vegetable omelet is appetizing! With mushrooms, yellow pepper, green beans, chili, and parsley, it´s a sensation for all your senses. But be careful: It is addictive.

Ingredient for 1 Omelet:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 mushroom
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 handful green beans
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 1/2 chili (careful, spicy!)
  • salt, pepper 
  • A little olive oil

To Prepare:

  1. Wash and cut the tops and ends of the beans. Chop in rings and add to the frying pan. Pour on the olive oil.
  2. Wash and cut the mushroom, pepper, parsley and the chili into small pieces. Beat the two eggs in a separate bowl and season. 
  3. Quickly fry the green beans in the pan. Add the rest of the vegetable and the egg mixture, spreading it well. 
  4. Let it set on low heat. The omelet is ready when it is cooked through but still slightly moist. Enjoy your meal!
